This little altar was at the feet of a picture of the Maize Man. People leave all kinds of things there for him. It reminded me a little of the things you see tied to trees on the way up Bear Butte in South Dakota. Some is probably legitimate, some probably not. I doubt if the Tampax on this one was of a religious nature...well, maybe....the maize man was suppose to be a god of fertility:-)
